Welcome

• Attend all practices and games unless previously discussed with coaching staff.
• Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate sportsmanship on and off the court.
• Commit to improving your skills and supporting your teammates and your coach.

Palmetto Shore Volleyball Club will participate in 10 tournaments. Parents are responsible for all transportation to and from practices including travel to and from the tournaments, hotel accommodations along with all meals for your athlete.  

• Practices are mandatory. Unexcused absence will constitute an infringement of this agreement and could result in consequences by the coach or club director unless discussed previously. 
• Players must report to practice at least 10 minutes prior to the schedule time
• Players must report to tournaments at least 45 minutes prior to their scheduled game and at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled working game time.  

• There shall not be any display of disrespect toward other athletes, coaches, parents, chaperones, hotel guests or employees while representing a team or wearing club uniform.
• Parents shall be supportive during tournaments and not question Palmetto Shore Volleyball staff regarding playing time or roster decisions.
• Parents shall not approach the bench when the team is warming up, playing, or working any matches unless directed or advised by a coach.

• Players are not dismissed from practices, tournaments, or any other scheduled team assignment until verbal or written communication from their coach.
• Questioning referees is strictly prohibited unless it is done by coaches or captains actively involved in the match.

• Players shall meet with their coaches to address any grievances before any grievances are escalated to parents or directors. 
• If the player and coach are unable to solve said grievance, then the player's respective parents may escalate their concerns with coaches and directors.
• In the event grievances cannot be resolved, Palmetto Shore Volleyball retains the right to evaluate whether partial or full refunds are appropriate and applicable on a case-by-case basis.

• Palmetto Shore Volleyball retains the right to suspend or remove a player from a team if it deems that the actions or behaviors demonstrated from said player are harmful and against Palmetto Shore Volleyball's policies. 
• Players and parents must wait at least 24 hours after the end of tournament play before they raise their grievances with a coach or staff member. 

Parents and Players must not make disparaging remarks about players, coaches, or teams whether such remarks are vague or explicit on any platform. 

• Club fees are paid via cash, check or card.  
• Parents are responsible for 100% of the club fees. There is a scholarship form available with explanation or circumstance that will be used at the discretion of the Club Director to determine if any or other payment plans are provided.  
• If a player's account becomes delinquent, the parent shall be responsible for any costs resulting from collection efforts plus a 5% charge on the outstanding balance.

• Club dues are $2800. We offer families an opportunity to pay their club fees in installments as a courtesy. Each family will have the option to amortize their season fees over the course of four months.
• Commitment Fee: A commitment fee of $300 is due by November 22, 2024, to secure your place on the team. This fee covers uniforms, club apparel, equipment, tournament fees, coach’s expenses, AAU, JVA & USAV memberships.  This fee will be applied to your final balance.

• First Payment of $625 due 12/15/24
• Second Payment of $625 due 1/1/25
• Third Payment of $625 due 2/1/25
• Final Payment of $625 due 3/1/25
